I finally went to Yosemite the last week of October! It's been on my list for a while and it did not disappoint. I spent five days in the park sunrise to sunset trying to maximize the photography opportunities. It didn't feel like much of a vacation! This is posted in chronological order hence all of the different compositions of Half Dome and the valley from Glacier Point. I also bombed over to the Mammoth Lakes area for a day if you don't recognize some of the photos from being in the park. A late October visit to Yosemite was magical. There was almost none of the usual crowds, the fall colors were awesome (also the only autumn color I've seen this year), and I was able to book lodging at the Wawona Hotel on the south side of the park only three weeks in advance! This trip was a little different than what I'm experiencing here in Dutch Harbor and was so worth the trip even if just to see the sun again! Thanks for being here!
